Marite Sainz studied modern violin at the Salamanca and Vitoria-Gasteiz Conservatories in Spain. In Holland she obtained her Bachelor and Postgraduate diplomas at Codarts (Rotterdam) under the coaching by Benzion Shamir, Gordan Nikòlic and Jean-Jacques Kantorow, and she recently finished her Master in Baroque violin and viola at the Utrecht Conservatory, taught by Antoinette Lohman.
Her professional experience spans diverse Spanish and Dutch symphony orchestras, Dutch baroque orchestras and ensembles, tango quartet and light/world music ensembles. Since 2007 she regularly takes part in the Theater Show of Ivo Niehe, having performed all over Holland and Belgium.
She gave violin lessons in "Udaberria" School (Vitoria, Spain) and Blijberg International School in Rotterdam, as well as private lessons to children and adults. She currently teaches violin at the Dordtse Muziekschool, Ambachtse Muziekschool and The American International School in Rotterdam.
